One evening in the summer of 2006 a group of friends were sitting in a backyard in the quiet municipality of Etobicoke in Toronto, Canada. Conversation led to childhood stories and hidden talents that each person possessed. When it was discovered that among the group there were not only two guitar players but also a violinist, trumpet player, and baritone/sax player. The idea of starting a band was introduced. Unbeknownst to the group on that fateful evening, without a name, ambition or plan the Kavalery were born. Through many line-up changes and musicial/personality conflicts the Kavalery have grown into the band that they are today.
